Dopo avervi presentato le nomination dei Producers Guild of America Awards, ora è il momento di elencarvi quelle dei Writers Guild of America Awards, la cui cerimonia di premiazione dell'edizione 2012 si terrà il prossimo 19 febbraio. I WGA sono i riconoscimenti assegnati dal sindacato ai migliori prodotti televisivi dell'anno. Boardwalk Empire, Breaking Bad, Modern Family e l’esordiente Homeland, sono le più nominate con tre candidature ciascuna.
