Writers Guild of America Awards 2015: nomination per True Detective e Game of Thrones

Nella giornata di oggi il sindacato degli scrittori americani ha annunciato le nomination ai Writers Guild of America Awards 2015, riconoscimenti assegnati alle migliore scritture televisive. Le candidature segnalano un netto predominio dei canali via cavo come HBO che ha ottenuto le nomination per True Detective (miglior dramma e migliore nuova serie), Game of Thrones, Veep (al suo secondo anno consecutivo) e Silicon Valley (miglior comedy e migliore nuova serie). Cinemax può invece vedere The Knick tra i cinque titoli in lizza nella categoria migliore nuove serie.

Anche Netflix è presente nell'elenco delle nomination con House of Cards e Orange is the new black nelle categorie principali, cosi come Amazon con tre nomination per Transparent (migliore comedy, migliore nuova serie e miglior episodio comedy). CBS è l'unico canale generalista ad essere presente nelle tre categorie seriali principali, ovvero come miglior serie drammatica grazie a The Good Wife. Tra gli episodi singoli si segnala la nomination doppia per Boardwalk Empire e Modern Family mentre tra le serie animate è sfida tra I Simpson e Bob's Burgers.
